Biography

Kensho Kuma - Japanese American MC from Berkeley,  was born in Yokohama, Japan, and was raised in the Bay Area,  Northern California; he has been actively recording and performing since ’97 and credits his discipline and education to the local independent Bay Area scene. A bilingual lyricist, able to flow in English and in Japanese; he has explored Asia thoroughly on multiple ventures.  Kuma has lived, worked, and performed, throughout mainland China, and motherland Japan.  Kuma promotes global preservation, education, and dominance of Hip Hop culture; he’s currently working on his second full length release, Projekt Life Force, which will be a bilingual album featuring artists from around the globe.
