Biography

Alex Kid a.k.a. Shaman Skoll was born and raised in the Pagrati area of Athens, Greece. He started getting involved in Hip-Hop since his early teens by listening to Hip-Hop records, beatboxing and tagging around the city. Being influenced by many MCs he wrote his own rhymes at the age of 13. Since he didn't know a DJ at the time, he started looping beats and later breaks recording them on a tape recorder. That’s when he started studying the art of sampling, sound engineering and music generally by collecting many genres of music, mostly Hip-Hop, Funk, Jazz and Soul. At the age of 18 he bought his first professional turntable and mixer to get involved in DJ mixing and scratching.   Ever since he has appeared as Shaman Skoll in some local friend artists’ demos such as Romson, Gerom, and S.O.K., also being their DJ for live shows. Alex Kidd has studied for 3 years and has a Bachelors degree in sound engineering.  In 2009 he moved to New Jersey, USA to meet  MC/lyricist Born Wisdom and work on  their up-and-coming album.   They are collectively known as 2MOST.
